The Goal

The goal was to make the brand feel clear, consistent, and strong across every touchpoint, not just visually, but in how it shows up in real-world applications.

The Challenge

The brand started with a logo and an initial idea of color, but there wasn’t a defined system in place yet. As the brand continued to grow, there was a need for something more structured that could support different applications.

The challenge was to build a system that felt cohesive and easy to use, while still allowing flexibility across web, marketing, and product materials.

My Role & Process

I was brought in to help develop the brand beyond its initial foundation. Starting with the logo and a general color direction, I built out a system that could support the brand across different touchpoints. This included refining the color palette to be more accessible and user-friendly, along with creating a structure that could be applied consistently across web, marketing, and product materials.

The focus was to keep everything practical, flexible, and easy for the team to use moving forward.

Brand Direction

The direction leans into strength, performance, and real-world use. The goal was to create something that feels bold and structured, while still letting the product be the focus. It needed to feel grounded and functional, but also more refined and intentional.

Visual Identity System

Color

Color was refined to improve accessibility and usability, while still staying true to the original direction of the brand. The palette supports contrast and helps guide the eye without overwhelming the layout.

Typography

Typography plays a key role in creating structure and readability. Montserrat and Adelle Sans work together to create a balance between clean, modern type and something that still feels strong and grounded.

Art Direction

Photography

The photography direction focuses on showing the product in real environments, while still supporting different types of content.

• Off-road and action-based shoots
• Product-focused studio photography
• Lifestyle imagery that shows everyday use

The goal was to highlight performance and durability, while keeping everything visually engaging.

Video

Video builds on that same idea, adding movement and energy.

• Movement
• Texture
• Environment
• Performance

It helps show how the product actually performs, not just how it looks.

Social Media

The system extends into social media, creating a more consistent and recognizable presence across platforms.

The layouts are flexible, but still structured, so everything feels connected even as the content changes.

Marketing & Brand Applications

Marketing materials follow the same visual direction, creating consistency across campaigns and product promotions.

Each piece works as part of the larger system, making the brand feel unified across both digital and print.

The Outcome

The result is a clear and cohesive brand system that supports GoRhino across all touchpoints.

It is now easier to apply, easier to scale, and more consistent across web, marketing, and product materials. The updated direction better reflects the strength and quality of the product while giving the brand a more intentional and unified presence.
