Brand design isn't just about making things look good. It's about making them work — consistently, across every touchpoint, for years after the project closes.

I'm Juana Trujillo, a Senior Brand Designer based in Los Angeles with 15+ years of experience building visual systems for brands that mean business. I've worked across consumer goods, B2B, nonprofit, hospitality, and retail — designing everything from brand identities and packaging to seasonal campaigns, trade show environments, and web experiences.

My process starts with listening. Before I open Illustrator, I want to understand who the brand is for, what it needs to communicate, where it needs to perform, and what already exists that's worth keeping. That research shapes every decision that follows — from color strategy to type hierarchy to the way a layout breathes.

I studied Graphic Design with a concentration in Web Design at Southern New Hampshire University, and hold a BA in Music from Biola University. My background in music isn't a footnote — it's shaped how I think about rhythm, structure, tension, and resolution in visual work. I notice when something is slightly off. I notice when something earns its place.

I'm also a photographer, video editor, and occasional opera performer. I bring the same attention to phrasing and composition to everything I do — whether it's a brand system, a photoshoot, or a stage performance.

Currently based in Los Angeles and available for full-time Brand Designer, Senior Graphic Designer, and select UX/UI roles.
